The squadron organised a Training weekend at Longmoor Training Camp,  from Friday 28th  to Sunday 31st January 2010, The cadet stayed in tents and the staff cooked the meals, bacon rolls for breakfast and "Spag bol" for dinner

The cadets were taught rifle procedures for the L98 cadet Rifle, how to clean and look after the rifle, safety rules and how to sight, cadets that showed aptitude were tested (WHT)

The Cadets Tents were in a big old "Nissan Hut" but that was little comfort from the bitterly cold temperatures at 0oC over night, but everyone was prepared for the cold and wrapped up warm. The food was good and the Classroom was warm and tea and coffee was freely available for all
