The Farnborough annual Battle of Britain
Parade took place in North Camp on Sunday 21st September
The weather was perfect with clear blue
skies and a warm sun, cadets from 413 (Aldershot), 457 (Farnborough),
1927 (Petersfield), 2260 (Waterlooville) and 2407 (Yatley) Squadrons took,
part with over 100 cadets on parade this was the biggest parade for several
years
The parade set off at just after 10am from the
Farnborough Branch of the British Legion with about 10 members of the RAFA
leading, with the Hampshire & IoW Band playing, the parade marched the short
distance to the North Camp Church
Once at the Church there was a short
church service, Wing Commander Clavell and Deputy Wing Commander Squadron
Leader Hughes attended and many other Air Training Corps Staff from
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wing. after the service the parade marched back to
the British Legion with the Salute being taken by the Mayor of Rushmoor
Once back at the British Legion there was
a small buffet prepared by the staff and committee of 413 (Aldershot)
