The senior cadet subjects take the leading cadet subjects
one stage further. They are much more in-depth and are often a lot more
complicated. However, they are often more interesting despite their
appearance, and they can be easier than you might originally think. |
Some of the subjects taken for the Senior cadet exams are:
 |
Airframes (This deals with the structure of Air Craft) |
 |
Operational Flying (How aircraft in the RAF are kept in the
air by different people) |
 |
Propulsion (The engines that power aircraft, how they work,
and the various mechanisms) |
 |
Navigation (A more in depth look at Air Navigation) |
 |
Radar & Satellite Communications (Does exactly what is says
on the tin - this is a complex Subject) |
|
The exams are marked at Wing HQ, similarly to the
Leading and Staff part1 exams |
