On
Sunday the 31st August 2008 the squadron embarked on its annual 10 mile
sponsored walk, the cadets met at the squadron HQ at 9.30 with a quick kit check
we were ready to go, just as the rain poured down, so we all put our
waterproofs on and set off
walking around the same route as
last year towards Aldershot and the Basingstoke Canal.
CI Cattermole was driving the support vehicle and me us at
several of the check points, stopping at the canal centre with the rain now
stopped and the sun struggling to com out we all had ice cream
It is hopped that £500 will be raised
this year some of which will be donated to the RAFA for their wings appeal
collection
