HQ. at 7.30am the 17 cadets and 1 staff left for Worthy Down on the

assisted the catering detachment set up.
The weather was excellent with
temperatures reaching over 20degress before 10am, there was not a
cloud in the sky, we later discovered it was the hottest day of the
year so far and was the hottest WAD day for over 8 years, this was
good as all the ice creams we had brought to sell were all gone
before midday
The cadets participated in several events: Command Tasks, Drill, .22
Target Shooting, Banner Drill, public speaking & Aircraft Recognition.
Photographs, models and Media skills were all judged on Saturday All cadets contributed and represented the squadron well, with maximum effort in
every event from every one

bacon rolls and selling Mars bars and cold cans of drink, to raise
funds for the squadron
