On 18th October 2009, 11 cadets and a staff member set of from Farnborough to Winchester for the Wing Cross Country Competition, the sky was blue but the temperature was cold

Once at Winchester the temperature increased a little and the sun cam e out a bit more too, the cadets were briefed and separated in to their various classes, at 10am sharp the first race was off, classes A & D, and 10 mins later C and a further 10 mins Class E with Class B starting 15 mins later. The races lasted just over 20 mins. as each race finished the cadets were given position Tokens and they reported to the administrator, once all the races were finished there was a short presentation ceremony with individual medals for 1st and 2nd and then the team medals

Overall 457 came 5th place with 1350 Fareham winning the over all competition
